My executive coaching offered in-person and online services to leaders, managers, and teams around the world are a beautiful blend of Eastern and Western philosophies. In this integrated approach, the cornerstones are MINDFULNESS and INTELLECT which are key Eastern philosophy principles.
Oftentimes, I have witnessed, intellect being confused with intelligence. Intellect is merely thought functioning independently of emotion. Intelligence is intellect and emotion working harmoniously and intensely. Time and again great leaders have demonstrated a complete unity of mind and heart in action.
To explain a bit more, through mindfulness, I enable the individual to be aware of his/her Inner as well as the Outer Game. Through intellect I inculcate or activate the discipline of questioning or reasoning everything instead of accepting things at face value and this is from the Western Philosophy. I borrow the principles of stakeholder’s feedback, derived from Stakeholder Centred Coaching pioneered by Dr.Marshall Goldsmith.
The key highlights of this philosophy are: –

- Stakeholders’ authentic inputs provide the necessary image of the behaviours a leader demonstrates
- Stakeholders support is imperative for the leader to develop
This integrated approach helps to harness the best of Eastern coaching wisdom and the Western focus on measurement.
On another note, I enjoy providing personal coaching (at discounted rates) for individuals who are experiencing personal crises (sudden loss of employment, off work with a stress-related condition, bullying or harassment at work).
